Sirens are often ignored and even deemed a nuisance by many people. Feel more secure and sleep well with a monitored alarm. Many people forget that not only is property being monitored for intrusion but also for fire while you sleep.

A Panic button is also there if you need. The monitoring centre can tell what has been activated. For instance if the Panic button is pressed the monitoring centre will take the action you have stipulated for Panic. If a smoke detector is actvated they will take the action you require for a smoke detector activation. If a PIR sensor is activated they can even tell where on your property this occured and put in place what you you stipulated.

Alarm Monitoring - How does it work?

An intruder alarm is attached to your telephone line, or in some cases to a wireless network, which is used to send signals from the alarm control panel in your property to the monitoring centre. When an alarm is activated the monitoring centre can determine what type of alarm signal is being received. The monitoring centre can take action by calling keyholders, guard service or the Police. The monitoring centre can also monitor when the alarm is being armed and disarmed, allowing you to know if a staff member has entered your premises outside work hours.

More businesses now have broadband wide area networks based on IP (Internet Protocol) technologies. This has allowed the development of a new generation of remote security monitoring services.

Guard Response

Having a monitored alarm is critical.

When your alarm is activated either;

you will want to know so you can put a pre-arranged action into effect or;
you will want someone else to know and take a pre-arranged action.

If you choose to have someone else monitor your alarm you will not have to worry about what to do in the event you have an intruder. The Guard will go to your property as soon as he can after getting the call from the monitoring company. Our signage is an integral part of your security. A burglary is less likely to take place if your property is protected.

Upon arriving at your home/business the guard will inspect the property for intruders or evidence of a brake-in. If the security of the property is compromised the guard will stay on site until arrangements have been made to correct the situation. You will be notified of the occurrence at the earliest time possible.
