What is SmartAlarm ?
SmartAlarm is a wireless alarm system suitable for most situations.  In addition to providing security for homes SmartAlarm lends itself particularly well to places without power or telephones, where temporary security is required and where portability is needed.

How is SmartAlarm monitored?
SmartAlarm can be monitored in 2 ways. 
  • First you can monitor your alarm yourself by having a text message sent to your mobile phone followed by a phone call from your SmartAlarm.  (You can then listen in to your property) or;
  • Second you can have a professional monitoring service look after your alarm for you.

What does it cost me to monitor SmartAlarm myself?
For most people the annual cost will be about $20.00.  This is the amount required to keep your SIM card active.  If you have many activations the cost may be higher.  You must top up your SIM card annually to keep it active.

What is the cost to have SmartAlarm professionally monitored?
The usual cost of monitoring an alarm in New Zealand is about a dollar a day for simple domestic alarms.  Commercial alarm monitoring encompasses a great deal more work on the part of the monitoring company and is therefore more expensive.

Do you have other types of alarm systems?
SmartAlarm Technology have a compete range of alarm systems for every need including wired systems.  We only use high quality equipment from trusted manufactures.

What does it cost to have a Medical alarm?
